Embracing a community-based philosophy, Johns Hopkins University Campus Safety and Security strives to prevent crime, provide assistance to victim(s), and investigate reported incidents in cooperation with other campus authorities and city, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
It is the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine Corporate Security to develop, implement, and monitor an efficient, cost-effective, customer-oriented, and proactive security program; to meet the needs of patients, visitors, and employees of Johns Hopkins Medicine; and to interface with the community, local government, and law enforcement to address public safety issues. Johns Hopkins Medicine Corporate Security serves the East Baltimore campus, Bayview Medical Center, East Baltimore Medical Center, and Howard County General Hospital.
